BAT Group · Tuan Chau Marina, Ha Long
BAT Group's Azura leaves Tuan Chau for Lan Ha with a pool, a free gym, a spa and a bathtub that faces the window in every balcony cabin. It is the one to pick when the ship matters as much as the bay.

Like most big cruise ships here, Azura starts at Tuan Chau in Ha Long. You check in at about 12:30, eat lunch as the ship threads the channels out of Ha Long Bay, and spend the afternoon in Lan Ha: a swim, the pool, or a kayak in Ao Ech lagoon. The next morning is Dark and Bright Cave, on the Ha Long - Lan Ha border, and you are back at the marina by 11:15.
That is a short trip, and one recent guest says so plainly. If you want more time on the water, the listing also sells a 3-day version with a second night. The schedule here is the 2-day one.
The price includes the cabin, all meals, a sunset tea break, entry fees, swim stops, the kayak tour, cooking class and squid fishing. Extras: the Hanoi or Ninh Binh transfer at $25 per person, other drinks, spa and massage, tips, a second-floor cabin for $25 per person, one of the two VIP rooms for $135 per person, and $5 per person over Tet. Kayaking is on the itinerary, but kayak rules in Lan Ha have changed several times since late 2024, and on some days crews switch to a rowed bamboo boat at the caves. Treat the kayak as likely, not promised.
Pickup 07:30 to 08:00 for guests who added the $25 transfer. Everyone else meets at the wharf.
Arrive at Tuan Chau Wharf between 11:30 and 12:00 and take a speedboat to the ship. Check-in at 12:30 with a welcome drink and a cold towel, then lunch under way.
Two hours to choose from: a swim in the open sea or the floating pool, the panoramic pool, or a kayak in Ao Ech lagoon.
Sunset tea or the jacuzzi, a cooking class at 18:15, dinner at 19:15, then the top deck, the bar or squid fishing from 20:45.
Tai chi, sunrise or the gym, breakfast at 07:00, then Dark and Light Cave by kayak or bamboo boat from 07:30 to 08:30.
Check out at 09:30, brunch on the way back, tender to the pier and ashore at about 11:15. Transfer guests reach Hanoi around 15:00.
