LanHaBay.org is an independent guide to Lan Ha Bay, off Cat Ba Island in Hai Phong, Vietnam, and to the cruises and day boats that sail it from Ha Long and Cat Ba. We are not a cruise company, a tour operator, a government body or GetYourGuide: the site name describes the bay we write about.

Facts here are checked against official and primary sources (UNESCO, the Hai Phong city government and its tourism department, Vietnam's national biodiversity agency), ferry and transport operators, and the tour listings on GetYourGuide, including recent guest reviews.
